Spam: Proposition 8 protest song..."Capable of Monogamy"

Dear Reader,

You might know about California's Proposition 8 passing.  You might also know that it specifically targeted Gay people and their pursuit of Gay Happiness and Gay Rights.

In protest, I wrote this song.

Please sing along with joy!!!!

I'm gay but I'm capable of monogamy
I want to go public with my love
Some folks are afraid,
but I know they'll be brave
and let me be monogamous in peace.

I'm gay
I'm so so gay
and i'm happy
oh so happy gay
cause today's
my wedding day
I'm gay I'm gay I'm gay

what if gays are human beings
maybe they should have some rights
some rights, some rights to be happy
hap hap hap hap happily married

Love Always,

Paulette

I'll understand if you feel embarrassed for me.

I know that a little knowledge is a dangerous thing, especially if it's in a tiny mind.

If you'd like to opt out of these e-mails, let me know.

Maiden Voyage

Hi,

I'm Paulette, and I like to get it rong.

Understanding politics is hard, especially when you're me, but for some strange reason I feel the need to write about my confusion.

Today, I didn't really look at the news yet, so I don't know exactly what's going on. But that won't stop me from writing about what's his name, Paulsen and Bernanke and the SEC guy and the FHFA guy who were witnessess in the Senate Finance/Banking commitee two or so days ago.

I guess Paulsen used to head Goldman Sachs, and Bernanke was always a professor professing. I don't know about the SEC guy or the FHFA guy, but they sure seem like such nice people.

Senator Dodd is a Democrat, and I don't know anything about his voting record.

One of the senators seemed smart and cogent. I forget what state he was from.

In summary, they all looked good, but Paulsen sometimes missed the microphone or didn't turn it on.
